4 Bathroom Cleaning Mistakes

The thought of cleaning the bathroom itself sends into depression. Bathrooms are the dirtiest places in the house. It’s the place where we dump all the waste from our body.

So cleaning a bathroom is very important for hygiene purposes, so as to prevent catching infections and diseases. Most of us just go through cleaning the bathroom like a drone programmed to do it and don’t realize that we might be making some mistakes while doing it or missing to clean it the right way.

Here are 4 ways that are not right in cleaning our bathroom:

1. We forget to clean behind or under the toilet seat

All of us clean the visible exterior of the toilet seat. What remains lost and forgotten is the backside of the toilet seat.

Put on a pair of gloves and equip yourself with an anti-bacterial toilet cleaner and you’re ready to go.

2. We wipe and scrub shower curtains

Don’t waste your energy scrubbing when you can just toss it in the washing machine. Wash as usual with laundry detergent.

3. We do not vacuum or use micro fiber cloths

Instead of scrubbing the floor clean, we can vacuum to attract all the dirt and grime on the floor, whether wet or dry. And instead of using regular cloth to clean the bathroom surfaces, you should use a microfiber cloth that creates enough static that attracts all the dirt to it.

4. We use normal room temperature water to clean

The surfaces of bathroom fittings and walls get dirty and not that easy to clean, especially due to mineral deposits in the water.

Use hot water to clean. For example if you are cleaning a bathtub, fill it with hot water and allow it to soak for a while and then scrub clean with a sponge and micro fiber cloth.
