Treat your skin with the earth’s best clay!

Can’t quite cut to the chase with this one because there is so much to say; about nature and about us. I’ve heard a lot of people say we should give back to nature, but how on earth can we give back? Mankind can never sustain nature, let alone giving back! We have always encountered a crisis everytime we have ignored or abused nature. But shamelessly we run back to it, there is no part of nature we can say no to.

Only recently there has been a burgeoning heed to organic products, especially for the skin. People are going old school and using the Ubtan or Multani Mitti for good skin. But what I am about to share with you will do nothing but magic.

So, if you are wondering what the earth’s best clay is, it is Bentonite Clay. Some of us may already be familiar with it but for those who are not, I am happy to introduce Bentonite Clay to you.

The clay is extracted straight from the earth, out of weathered volcanic ash. It contains highly essential elements like Sodium, Potassium, Calcium and Aluminium. You may wonder how these will help your skin. It is sometimes called Aztec clay. The name bentonite is often used to identify clays whose origins are unknown, but it is found in Fort Benton, Wyoming. There are types; Sodium, Calcium and Pottasium. Sodium and Calcium are common and skin-friendly, although the clay is usually a combination of both.

The amazing clay has the ability to produce an electric charge when it comes in contact with water and the components change and is now able to absorb toxins, heavy metals and impurities. This is why it is a great mask to treat a range of skin diseases like Eczema, Psoriasis and all grades of acne.

It’s quite unreal how toxins get accumulated in the body and how dangerous they can be.

Chronic acne and stomach acne is most often caused by toxins and adding more chemicals on your skin is only going to make it worse. A skin detox is the only real cure.

Apart from this, the clay can also do wonders in the following areas;

1. pH balance

Bentonite is highly alkalizing, so using it as a mask once in a while will balance the pH of your skin.

2. Stomach acne

You could either use it topically or drink it up to clear out the acne.

3. Underarm detox

Make a paste and apply it onto the underarm and leave until it completely dries. Doing this will absorb those stubborn toxins and bacteria that cause the ordor. A deodorant can only cover it up and give out a nice scent, also these toxins won’t go even if you exfoliate or scrub. Doing it once a week can eventually eliminate the ordor.

4. Healthy Gut

Since the gut is like a reservoir of toxins and harmful chemicals, it needs a detox once in a while before it creates serious symptoms. One of the powerful ways is by drinking bentonite.

Mix 1/2-1 teaspoon with a generous amount of water and drink right away.

Make sure the clay is of pure form.
