3 Ways to Make the Perfect Toast

Toast is an inevitable part of our meals. They are filling and are a great source of carbs. The best part is that it can be topped with the sauces and topping of your choice to make toast a favorite of all age groups.

You can consume it as simple basic toast or glamorize it by experimenting with different varieties of bread, sauces, toppings and seasonings.

Here are 3 ways we can turn simple basic toast into something special and sought after:

1. Experiment with good quality bread

The success of a dish depends on the quality of the ingredients that go in it.Experiment with different types of bread to get the perfect toast.

Nothing can beat the slices from a freshly baked loaf of bread.

2. Create your own spreads

You can always play it safe and stick to the regular spreads like mayonnaise, cheese spread etc… But why not create your own spread by mixing various spreads or even layering them on the toast.

For example you can mix cream cheese with cheesy jalapeno sauce and see if you like it.

3. Follow the 3 S’s when you assemble toast

The 3 S’s consist of Spread, Slice and Sprinkle. When you assemble your toast, start by spreading the spread of your choice, followed by slices of whatever fruit or vegetable you like and lastly end the process with a sprinkle of seasoning.

You have a variety of seasonings to choose from that include chili flakes, pasta seasoning, variety of herbs, dried powdered cheeses etc…
