Almost all households with toddlers face the situation when their walls get decorated with their little tot’s art.Crayon scribbles are not as hard to get off as you imagine them to be.
1. Toothpaste
The abrasive in the toothpaste will help get the crayon stains off the walls. But remember it’s the non-gel toothpaste varieties that work.
2. Baking soda
Baking soda is a handy tool when it comes to stains and marks. Simply dip a damp cloth in baking soda and wipe the surface of the walls. The crayon stain will come off easily without too much effort.
3. Erasers
This may involve a lot of muscle work. But at the end of the day rubbing off the crayon marks with an eraser is like wiping off chalk from the slate.
4. WD-40
What was initially invented as penetrating oil and a water displacing spray is not a household helper. It has dozens of uses, most of which come under the home maintenance and cleaning category. Simply spray on WD-40 and wipe clean. And don’t worry it will not damage your walls or wallpaper.
5. Mayonnaise
As crazy as this solution a sound, mayonnaise also helps get off crayon marks from the walls. Simply apply the mayonnaise on the marks and allow it to soak in. After a few minutes you can simply wipe off the marks along with the mayonnaise. You will believe it only when you try it.
6. Steel wool scrubber
You can to be a bit delicate when working with this tool. Gently stroke the crayon marks, taking great care not to damage the wall paint or the wall paper. Continue stroking till all the marks come off.
7. Vinegar
Soak a rag in vinegar and wipe the area clean. Guess granny’s old remedy works for lots of household problems.
