This is one of the early milestones as the teeth erupt from the gums causing pain. For some child’s symptoms like mild fever, drooling, bad temper, sore gums and eccentricity might cause during the teething process. Looking at our child in such a situation is unbearable, right so what can we do? How can we ease toddlers teething woes? Here are a few tips to help our child ease out the pain.
You can use teething Toys: Being the first-time parent, many women are unaware of what to do with the child’s distress. So, we help out with the simple trick. You can get a gel-filled teething toy or a ring that is so soft yet squishy so that your child can chew on. As baby’s hygiene is so essential, make sure they’re clean and put them in the freezer so that they remain cool. By this method, your baby’s gums are soothed. To keep your child attracted to it, keep the toys colorful n’ eye-catching.
Always keep some Medication Handy: During the beginning stage of teething, he/she may insert fingers or objects into the mouth. Always keep medication hand to control in case fever or pain shoot up during the phase.
Give or Cheer Hard Foods: It is during this stage, mothers start giving slight or hard foods like carrot, cool cucumber that can be easily chewed by the toddler. Clean the veggies and cut the edges before feeding him/her. This is also healthy for baby and eases the teething ache.
Maintain Waterlessness: Due to pain, the baby will constantly drool that may invite the gathering of germs and infection. For this, you should keep your child’s mouth dry. Use a soft towel, baby wipes or tissues to wipe her face, hand and jawline. Make sure your toddler is healthy.
Help Child by Rubbing Gums: This is one of the best ways to ease your toddler’s pain. When your child starts crying, clean your fingers and rub the baby’s gum. You can also use gauze pad that is moisturized and even a freeze spoon will do magic to keep the gums pain free.
Always keep a watch on physical symptoms and take to the doctor if needed. Take care of your precious child because none other than you can know the pain your child!
